Story

A warm welcome awaits you as you experience the largest yoga studio in SW Florida. Luxuriate in our 7500 square feet of serene space. We offer massage, skin care services and an expansive boutique. We are here for the joy.

The calming environment in Joyful Yoga & Ayurvedic Spa has been carefully designed to promote wellness. From the wall colors to the flooring, the sounds, smells and sensory experiences have all been chosen with this in mind, including the fashions, jewelry, props, remedies, media and snacks.

We invite you to join our Yoga community, to practice, shop, observe a class, get to know your instructor, read, or just linger in the library with a cup of tea, absorbing the energy of the space.

Joyful Yoga is a the best choice for those seeking better fitness, health and understanding of Yoga as a practice and philosophy for well being. I have been going to Joyful Yoga for several years on a seasonal basis. I am so impressed with the dedicated Yoga instructors and array of classes for all skill levels. Recently, I had a knee injury and was healing slowly until I got back to Florida for the summer and re-started my Yoga Practice. Within 3 weeks my knee pain and swelling has all but disappeared. I am so thankful for the convenient location and great instructional staff. I encourage anyone who is thinking about Yoga as a way to increase fitness and mobility to give it try. Also a big shoutout to Tess, Jackie, Emily, Marti, Karyl, Amy, Stacy, Lynda and Carly. Your instruction and dedication are inspiring me to want to deepen my practice. The benefits are amazing. Also, Joyful Yoga has a spa and I frequently get a massage from Linda who is amazing at Deep Tissue Massage. Thank you all.

A warm, joyful atmosphere to enjoy yoga as a beginner. But clearly, a facility that offers and encourages all levels.

I recently completed a 2 week "yoga boot camp" at your amazing studio. I challenged myself to attend 2 to 4 classes per day during this 2 week period to enhance my yoga practice and to gain strength and agility. I can say with great enthusiasm that I fulfilled my goals and gained so much more than what I expected. What derived from this experience was a combination of renewed friendship, greater understanding of the asanas and Ayuerveda principles, and an enhanced love and passion for yoga. Thanks to your superb staff I have renewed energy and refined poses. Even the days when I felt my body had been beaten to butter, I left your beautiful studio with a smile on my face and a song in my heart ready to face any challenge before me. While I might be in the middle of my "silver tsunami", I refuse to accept that age limits us- and this from a dyslexic 37 year old. (Yes, you guessed it. I am 73 years old and still out there kicking! I even do yoga on my paddleboard.) Age is not a limitation or a handicap. Yoga is for everyone. My sincere thanks to all of you special people at Joyful Yoga. See you after we return from our home in Puerto Penasco Mexico. Clara McElroy, RN, MA, LMT
