It is cheaper and also easier to deal with Home Depot or Lowes.  Juniors has an extra charge for using a credit card, which makes them even more pricey than already being more expensive than HD or Lowes.  If I am doing a big $ lumber purchase, I definitely like having the extra points as well!

I would usually pick a local outfit as opposed to a "big box" store, but given the customer service and vast difference in pricing, from my standpoint there is no redeeming reason to do so.

Rock Stars!  Juniors has jumped through hoops to make sure all our materials are here when we need them.  Couldn't ask for better service!

I tried to phone in an order to be picked up today at Junior Building Supply and the guy on the phone tell me.. wait for it.. that his policy, Junior's policy is that they charge an ADDITIONAL 5% surcharge because I am phoning in with a credit card and they are not swiping it in the store.. that is about the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

I worked in retail for almost 20 years and that is the biggest crock of BS I have ever heard.  If times are tough just be honest and raise your prices, don't nickle and dime the guys who have been keeping you in business for years.

Just Sayin..
