Best fish fry in WNY!! The french fries are fresh cut, NOT frozen, which is always a plus, and the side salads are delicious. Service is friendly and personable. The beef on weck is delicious too! My only complaint is when table's are being cleaned, they use a spray bottle with Awesome cleaner and if you're close to a table being cleaned, you can taste it.
Was visiting from Florida and wanted real food not big restaurant chain food. Googled and found this amazing place! Wow! The food was Scrumptious! The nicest people working there. If I lived close I would probably eat there as much as possible! This place is a hidden gem! Eat here if you want delicious food for a great price!

This was a great start to Fish Fry season in Western New York. Fish was juicy & delicious, sides were basic but good as well. Service was on top of things, while it was packed with customers! Definitely will go back to try more of the menu. Get there early for a table!Food: 5/5
Def one of my most favorite bars in Tonawanda. I literally cannot say anything negative about this place. I always have a great time at GenesFood: 5/5
Our waitress Karen was awesome. Great friendly atmosphere and a Superb Fish Fry. I'm definitely going back.
Sam at the bar is a fantastic and friendly bartender. Food is much better than you'd expect at a place called a Junkyard, in fact probably some of the best Bar Food around. Cleanliness is high-tier, seems to be highly cared for by the owner and staff.
Best beer battered fish fry anywhere!!!Food: 5/5
Service was terrible. We were one of two tables sitting and even then the waitress didn't seem to be paying attention to our table. She also made unnecessary rude jokes about us and our behavior. The fries were burnt, and the sandwiches were over-seasoned. 10 minutes passed after our waitress took our order before she came back to let one of us know our dishes wasn't available. I would definitely not recommend this place.
