First of all as I sit there waiting to order I hear an employee cursing while talking to another employee. They were not standing close to each other either they were probably a good 20 to 25 feet apart. Next I order my food and it comes out in less than 5 minutes. That would be awesome, except I ordered country fried steak with gravy mashed potatoes and fried okra. What I get is an overcooked dry piece of cube steak, a plate full of obvious instant mashed potatoes, gravy that taste like it came from a jar and what seemed to be pretty decent fried okra. That is until it cooled a little, at which time I realized it had been microwaved- you could barely chew it the crust was so tough. On the other hand the service was great! My order was taken promptly, the server was extremely friendly, and when she brought the check she intuitively knew that I would like a to go drink. I will probably go back again, as I did arrive less than an hour before they were closing for the afternoon. I am hopeful that is the reason for the mediocre food.

Went here on earlier today, Amy was our server she wasn’t friendly at all. We ordered our food, someone else brought it out, and we never seen her again. My boyfriend needed a refill on his soda for the longest but she was no where to be found. So when it was time to check out, I asked the female at the cash register could she give us to go drinks because our waitress never came back and she agreed. I told her I had sweet tea and he had a soda she had to make sure she “confirmed” this with the server as if we were lying trying to get a free beverage! After that I then told her the tea wasn’t sweet and I wanted a soda she then tried to argue with me telling me it was the best tea in town and she didn’t see what I was talking about.. who tries to argue with someone over THEIR preference..? I told her I would’ve informed the server about this if she had came back. I also told her to check the table to see that my cup was still full...  then she tried to tell me the soda was extra so I told her ok how much extra?  she ignored me then went to someone else saying she refused to fix me another drink.. then another old bat told her to call the cops on me ? For what? will not be returning to this crocked old joint!

Went on Saturday at noonish and it was packed!  Waited about 20 minutes for a table. The service was fast though and the food was very good. Generous portions. Affordable prices. Will definitely go back.

Delicious food at reasonable prices. Very courteous staff too. Well worth the wait to get seated.

Busy but nice. My food was a little undercooked due to how fast they had to move to try and serve the high customer volume, but what I could eat was delicious. Worth going, but try to plan your visit during down time.
