Story

Kathy was born and raised in Gretna and has lived on the Northshore for 28 years. Grant born and raised in Marksville and has lived on the Northshore for 20 years. With his cajun background and Kathy's knowledge of the restaurant business from her family who owned Bozo's in Metairie for 82 years and having previously owned Hungry House Cafe in Mandeville herself, they opened their own family run operation. Starting thier own traditions, with not only serving awesome food but also providing our customers in an entertaining atmosphere. Our customers can enjoy the sounds of local bands as they dine in K. Gee's, as we have musical guests often. One Saturday a month we have a "ZYDECO" breakfast, where bands travel from the Lafayette area to play music for our loyal patorns as they eat a great breakfast and dance. K.Gee's Restaurant takes pride in keeping traditions on our menu and creating new dishes. Everything is cooked in house. At any given time you can walk in our kitchen and witness someone chopping, sauteeing, grilling and creating!
