The beach house has improved since I ate here last. I have to say the food and the service are much better. We love the sandbox for the kids to play. I got the pulled pork nachos and 2 people could share them. They came on a baking sheet. They have an in house coffee shop. I got the white chocolate Frap, it was do good.. I only have 1 complaint...the lack of bathrooms. They have 1 unisex bathroom which is gross. It was about as clean as a port a potty.

This place was awesome. From the atmosphere to the food to the service, this place nailed it. You can bring your dog here, and they have a sandbox for kids. The very casual feel here is nice. I highly recommend this place.

Service was horrible. Food took a very long time. We spilled a drink in the table and our waitress was at the nexymt table bussing and didn't even ask if we need napkins. Another server came to that table to wipe it and I had to ask to use her towel. Food wasn't worth the price. Great atmosphere and nice kids area. If you want a place to have a drink and visit it's a good place to go.

The guy at the bar reminded me of a prison lunch lady, but aside from that the place is great. Laid back hippie vibe often with live music, good big food, and decent prices. There's a popular playground for the kids to entertain themselves as the adults drink bucket margaritas.

A block away from Lake Pontchartrain, it is a covered, open air restaurant with a casual (can bring your dog) atmosphere. 4 stars because a medium-well burger was cooked well done, and when they have music (a great idea), it is difficult to have a conversation with others at your table. Still really like to go there!
