It’s sad to say, I used to love Kabuki to the point where my friends and I would come multiple times in a month. However, Kabuki has made a complete turnaround. My friends and I came one night and we were treated very rudely. Also, the sushi wasn’t completely thawed out and there were frozen pieces, almost tasted like supermarket sushi. Additionally, the food tasted old, which is not very pleasing. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for good authentic Japanese cuisine, as well as fresh sushi.

Extremely disappointed from the moment we walked in the door! The staff were not welcoming or accommodating AT ALL! We felt like a burden and an inconvenience. We had to literally open the menu multiple times and physically point to what we wanted, no one seemed to be able to process a simple request or an order. They forgot our appetizers and insisted repeatedly that everything was our mistake. When we asked to speak to the manager/supervisor they refused to get them so we had to walk to the hosts desk and speak to someone. He also insisted his staff didn’t make a mistake and was not apologetic at all. THEY ALSO REFUSED OUR GIFT CARD SAYING ITS NOT VALID. Turns out that according to the authorities, it IS a legit gift card. The food was decent, entertainment amateur at best and piss poor service, thanks for a terrible anniversary dinner! Will never return! This sums it up, but there’s much more!

The food was OK but my friends and I had a horrible experience here. My friend’s and I went here on a Saturday at 5:00 and after I put the first piece of chicken in my mouth, a woman asked me if I wanted a box. WE JUST STARTED EATING. They kept coming back trying to take plates away from us, when we were trying to enjoy our dinner. The waiters were giving us dirty looks as if we should have left there. Will not be coming back. I never felt more rushed at a restaurant in my life or truly felt compelled to write a review. If you want quality hibachi,  go to Samurai in Glassboro.

Can't recommend this place enough. The spicy Kani salad is a must and the sushi is some of the best around. Staff is always friendly and the food is always quick to come out. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in South Jersey.

First experience so I'm a bit reserved about it, but it was good. Staff was very, very nice and friendly, the environment was comfortable, and the service was fast. Maybe it's on me for not being very familiarized on Japanese cuisine, but I found the menu difficult to get. Sometimes adding a picture can help, as the descriptions can be misleading. 

With that being said... The soup was great. The salad was spectacular, the appetizers were okay, and the main dish was great. Their seasoning for steaks is fantastic, and their shrimps are really good as well. I wouldn't recommend the fried ricd, though. Other than that, it was good overall. I would definitely recommend it.
