Located in historic downtown Natchitoches, Kaffie-Frederick has operated continuously for 153 years. Five generations of the two families have overseen daily operations since 1863. As Louisiana's oldest general store, we feature everything you remember from the "good old days" like hardware, housewares, cookware and kitchen supplies, classic toys, and gifts. Our original elevator still works, as do our early 1900's cash registers. Our specialties are good old fashioned service and quality merchandise. That formula has worked for 148 years, so we pledge to continue it.
