I don't know why the scores is lower than I experienced. The Thai food is absolutely amazing. The service too. I would like to come back again with my friends.

First a positive: I've been eating at this place for a few year the sauces are as good as ever. The meat is still cooked right and the people are nice. However, the portions have become unreasonably slim. Especially the proteins. Shrimp is not that pricey! Chicken is dirt cheap! Seriously this one factor has brought me to wanting to review which I don't often do and to give a solid 4 star restaurant down to 2. (And I know what you're thinking: this guy has a huge appetite! Nope. Neither did the 3 other people I shared dishes with.)

The environment entering in is...relaxed, chill, and laid-back. Granted we were the only ones here. The service is good, but not very fast (again, "chill"). The lemongrass soup was excellent. Very fragrant and wonderful. The Thai iced tea was quite good as well, with condensed milk, my wife thinks. We came on a Groupon. The portions are quite small, but the food really is well executed and delicious. And the lunch special of $9 for a main course (chicken green curry, very good, tasting better the more you eat it) and the aforementioned lemongrass soup. The chicken satay was unique, and I love the mini bit of cucumber onion slaw on the side. The papaya salad was okay. Overall, if you are not rushed but want good Thai food, come. If you are in any bit of a hurry, stay away (we were the only ones here... So it would probably be worse if it were packed). Judged solely on taste and execution, this would veer toward 4.5 stars. The pace isn't the fastest and the portions are a bit small (hence the modest menu prices, so it's not that unreasonable). The music was enjoyable for my wife. The mango sticky rice was very yummy. Because I came on a Groupon and am feeling generous (the food really is tasty), I'll raise the average and give it a 5. Call me a softy. I'm also local, so that helps. The service is not bad. Just not brisk. But seriously, the food, which is the most important, really delivered and hit the spot. I would definitely recommend it (especially with Groupon), and I myself would consider coming back (maybe even if without Groupon!).

Good food, excellent service. After dinner (maybe lunch, too) try the coconut custard. Very good!!
