Kaiser is the worst. I will never have Kaiser insurance again. They do not have enough doctors and you can almost never be seen the same day, especially in Alpharetta or Cumming, so just don't get sick, they can't see you when you have to take a sick day. The prescription coverage is awful as well, Walmart without insurance is often cheaper than what you pay with Kaiser insurance. Not to mention inconvenient. You have to use their office pharmacy or can't use your insurance. I would rather no insurance than Kaiser... At least then you would have freedom from Kaiser's awful service and shite appointment system. I filed multiple complaints about the lack of availability and horrible appointment system... It all falls on deaf ears.

Best overall insurance option, especially if you are buying insurance on your own. Because KP does almost everything in-house and is a non-profit, they do their best to do things in the most cost effective way possible while still maintaining quality. There are no incentives for the staff at Kaiser to have you do anything you don't need to do as they get paid the same regardless of what treatments they prescribe. This means they are focused on healing not profit. They seem very into "evidence based medicine," which is a good thing for patients. It means they try to do what the actual research says is the best treatment for any given condition. All providers communicate with each other on the same computer system, even the pharmacy and labs are all connected. This keeps everyone on the same page; any doctor can immediately pull up your chart. Co-pays and deductibles seem to be better than the other options in my area, and I never get surprise bills in the mail. Past insurance companies would often deny payment for things for seemingly no reason and then I'd get some massive bill. You never have to fight with them to get claims paid for; in fact, there's usually no paperwork to deal with in the first place. A real breath of fresh air if you're used to how things usually operate in the United States. Since this is a review of the Alpharetta office, I would like to mention Dr. Christine R Scott M.D., who I have chosen as my primary care doctor at this location. I really think she is excellent and cares a lot. She is really top notch. It is important to find a primary care doctor that you like when using Kaiser (you have choices so keep trying until you find one you like). Your primary care doctor coordinates your overall care with Kaiser and is usually the one to give you referrals to specialists if you need them.

It takes on average 15 minutes every time I need to make an appointment and they are often weeks away. The app is a complete joke bc nothing ever works. Ive had prescriptions transferred several times bc the pharmacy prices are ridiculous. If I had more options I'd definitely take them.. $30 and $60 co-pays also upset me.The positive part is I've yet to come across a bad doctor and I'm hoping that doesn't change or I'll be just SOL

Love the staffs and Doctors. Their Urgent care facility have long waits. Pediatricians are excellent except few new ones.

We could not have been more pleased with this facility. All unites that we use (pediatrics and adult) are extremely professional, helpful and pleasant. The pharmacy is also useful and nice.
