We have had Kisser for over 40 years. They have always been so good.....UNTIL... Feb.2017 my mom called and said my dad wasn't breathing so good. Why in the world did they set him up an appointment with his Dr. Instead of sendingvhim to emergency..... Dr. Steal and his staff were so rude. She came in an hour early with my dad.... It took over three hours for them to see my dad... My dad was pissed they were in there laughing and giggling. Then by the time they got to my dad they sent them by ambulance to the ER. She asked the nurse why did the have to wait so long to be seen. The nurse told my mom next time don't come so early...... My mom offered to drive my dad but they said no he needed to go by ambulance..... Why the heck didn't you send my elderly parents in there 80 to emergency in the begging. Then you send a ambulance bill for $200. The Dr. Steal was rude and the nurse was way out of line for her remarks..... All the Dr. Steal did was pump my dad full of medication never checks his liver. Kidneys or anything. I think they tried to kill my dad from the beginning. Making him wait over 3 hours when he had trouble breathing then sending him to the wrong department.... Someone owes are family an explanation. Why were they treated this way

I have been a Kaiser member for about 25 years. Have had surgery for breast cancer twice 10 years apart, a heart attack that stopped my heart and then a triple bypass, cataract surgery in both eyes, falls that caused 3 compression fractures in my back at different times and various other problems. Kaiser has brought me through everything. I trust them and their doctors, nurses and their staff in general. I have been a member in Fresno and also the San Francisco area where I had 2 stents placed in my heart. All people I've come in contact with have been knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, caring and proficient. They have saved my life more than once.

Oncology staff are awesome, caring, and professional. Always feel I am in compassionate hands when receiving treatment. I couldn't ask for a more comforting atmosphere to be in while going through the worst of times. I thank God and feel blessed that I have these people caring for me.

My mom has Kaiser and she's always getting the best care, I have Kaiser coverage now too as of march 2017 and I have the best doctor a d I'm getting the perfect care for my health.

I have been a Kaiser Permanente member in one form or another for 30 years, and have lived in both the San Francisco and Fresno regions. With rare exception, the doctors are high calibre and caring. The nurses are wonderful, dedicated and compassionate. Quality of service is almost always high. I love the convenience of having everything in a "one stop shop." It has saved me loads of time and hassle over the years. During all the years with them, I have had simple fix problems, as well as serious ones like advanced kidney disease, asthma and cancer. If you don't like your doctor, you can easily change. Even the business staff tries to be of help if needed. No hospital system as large as Kaiser is perfect, so I only give it 4 stars instead of 5, but I am so glad I chose Kaiser years ago, and I would choose it again in a heartbeat. On another note, I noticed one reviewer mentioned Dr. McGlorie. I had the privilege of being treated by him in the ED, twice over the past year. On both occasions he did an outstanding job of quickly diagnosing the problems, and getting me the help I needed. On the first occasion, his kind, warm and professional attitude really helped ease my pain and anxiety. Again, no system this big and extensive is perfect, but they get most things very right.
