I'm starting to wonder if Kaiser Permanente is now owned by the County. I came in for a simple TB test. They don't bother taking people on time, in the order of check in and the hospital receptionist and Members Services customer service representatives can use a class in telephone demeanor or at minimum, professionalism.

I have read here several negative reviews on Kaiser Ontario. I have to say that I have visited the ER at least a half dozen times and never waited for more than an hour or two. I was seen by a triage nurse within the first 15 to 20 minutes every time I’ve been there. The staff has always treated me competently. I have always received a follow up call the next day or so to check up and see how I’m doing. People need to understand that if you go to the ER they are going to treat the more severe life threatening cases first. Most of the doctors and nurses I have encountered were always sincere and competent. As far as the other services for out patient and doctors visits, they are like clock work. They have a very good system. I can say that there have been a couple instances where I have been misdiagnosed and the same with some of my family members. That’s when you have to demand a second opinion, which is your right to do. Make sure they get it right. Doctors, nurses, and administrators do make mistakes. They are human like the rest of us. If you don’t feel like you are getting the service you should be getting, you have to speak up when your there and not just write a google review after the fact. This is your life your dealing with. I have been to both Fontana and Ontario Kaiser’s and I like this one better. Overall, I think they do a great job and I will keep coming back.

I was there for a surgery on 2/21. Everyone was so pleasant, the hospital was clean. My surgeon Dr. Chin was awesome, a true professional. I wish I would have remembered everyone's name so I could thank them personally. While recovering I was in room 415 and every nurse I had was very pleasant. The only name I remember was Jason, he was so pleasant to deal with. Nutrition services and EVS were so polite. Even the Vendor that collected the sharps container was nice. This was my first ever surgery or even overnight hospital stay, I know they exceeded all of my expectations.

Mind you I have had Kaiser for years, so I haven't had any real issues with service. But today I was extremely disappointed simply because the care I needed was for my child. I brought my son in with asthma and cold symptoms. My wait was decent considering the lobby was full. They called him back to be evaluated by a nurse. I was slightly thrown off because the nurse never listened to my child's lungs. I had to ask him to listen and make sure he was okay for the wait. He did receive his treatment but was never seen by a doctor. He had us sit back in the original lobby which was extremely crowded by now and after waiting for almost 2 hours I left. No one was aware of when we might be seen, and by this time my child was asleep in the chair. Like I said I have been a Kaiser patient for a long time so I don't have much to complain about. But when you have a sick kid 2hrs is just unacceptable. Asthma is something I take very serious, I have it myself. I can only imagine how he felt when I braught him in. I do appreciate the service I did receive because I feel like he did get some relief. Being seen by a doctor would have been greatly appreciated. With that being said I will be taking my son to urgent care in the morning. Tonight I will say they seemed overwhelmed and understaffed. I hope for a smoother experience next time.

What is going on at Kaiser?!? Parking was restricted by newly set up barricades. ..so we had to walk farther to get to the building ....then when we got to the back entrance that I've used 100% of the time that I've come here...it's taped off...now we have to walk around the whole building to get to the front entrance ....great!!...walking in...its very busy ...kaiser seems to be getting busier and busier each time i come here. So our experience was not very pleasant today ....with "out of order" elevators....insufficient supplies in the restroom....as well as waiting almost an hour to be seen for our 11:00 am appt ...only when we got lucky enought to catch a nurse calling in another patient to be seen...we inquired about our appointment...we were told the doctor was running late...then miraculously!....our name was called within 2 minutes!! Hope i dont have to come here too much!!
