My wife and I were very pleased with the work performed by Kal and his crew. Very responsive from the estimate, scheduling and work performed.  Our new roof and siding project was professionally installed and the cleanup of the site was excellent. The project manager kept us informed and was always available to answer any questions. We would highly recommend Kal Construction and Design to anyone requiring residential contractor services.

Kal has done numerous projects for us at our house in St. Paul, from big to small. His work is always fabulous. I especially appreciate the care he takes to make sure he knows what we want, and helps us to look at all our options. The projects included roof patching, after hail damage; a beautifully remodeled bathroom; painting both inside and outside; all sorts of electrical matters and upgrades, and many more.  Kal is the best contractor I have ever worked with.

Kal has done two major home projects for us, a complete basement remodel and a screened-in outdoor patio with fireplace.  Kal's team is very professional and pleasant to work with.Both projects more than met our expectations and were done at a reasonable price.  He offers good design ideas and is careful with the customer's money.  I've recommended him to others who have been equally satisfied.

Kal Effendi is my go to for so many things.  Kal adheres to a budget and a timeline!  His standards are second none.  I have appreciated his guidance, which for the record has saved my thousands of dollars due to some of the crazy ideas I have.  From roofing and door replacements to finishing an entire basement, you can trust Kal and his team.

We were very pleased with Kal Construction and its renovation of our basement,  third floor apartment, and installation of air conditioning throughout our 11,000 sq. ft. 1909 home on Summit Avenue in Saint Paul.  The design work was performed by Merv Hough and his plan was executed by Kal Construction with remarkable quality and attention to detail.  The work was completed on time.  We could not have been more pleased.
