UPDATE-Came with hubby and had a great time and meal! It was my first time here, came with a friend who had been here a couple times before. I was thoroughly impressed. The exterior is artsy and beautiful. The inside has a fun vibe with great music and is decorated very colorfully. The food is amazing and the staff is so accommodating and attentive. I will definitely be returning with my husband and trying more of their great food!
We went for my daughter's birthday. They were able to accommodate our huge family. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. There was loud music which made it fun. The only downfall was it was a little more pricey than we expected
Came to visit here on Sunday 1/08/23 around 3pm with my family and the service was great! Our server was friendly, the food came out fast and we enjoyed our meals! I had the chicken enchiladas and they were very tasty. Overall our experience was great and i would definitely go back. Looks like it would be a good vibe at night!
I was excited once I saw this new restaurant being under construction. I couldn't wait until it opened. I finally got to visit today during lunch hour and it was busy! The atmosphere was great. Music playing drinks on point and delicious. No wait for 2. I ordered 3 drinks, 1 draft beer , molcahete and Birria. Total was $122 . I was a great experience. Would definitely be back. Aztec centric club type of vibe. Customer service was great also!!

This was our first visit to Kalaveras Cantina Urbana. The place was really busy. In spite of the large amount of customers, the servers were quick and responsive. The drinks almost immediately after we ordered them. Same thing with the food. We had the chicken enchiladas with green sauce and they were delicious. And the margaritas were some of the best I've ever had. I will certainly be back!
We stopped in for some good Mexican food, and we weren't disappointed nor were we left with any room in our stomachs. The atmosphere is festive with lots of music playing. The staff was attentive and the food was so good. Wish we could have spent more time here, but alas we must travel home. I'm sure we'll be back.
Outside and inside have been renovated nicely. I arrived at 5 PM and was very surprised to find the restaurant very full. The food was great and the atmosphere was loud but a lot of fun.
Service, and drinks were great. Food wasn't as tasty as I was expecting. The guacamole had no taste and the rest was just ok. Would recommend to stop by for drinks only.
Definitely a fun and wonderful atmosphere! Decor was Latin flare calavera inspired, TVs throughout with latin music videos playing. They give you a basket of chips with salsa. Chips were fresh and salsa was good with a hint of heat. Ordered Quesabirria tacos. Very filling and flavorful. Perfect amount of grease for hangover food. Ordered a Pacifico michelada. Michelada served with tajin and Tamarindo rim dip. Super refreshing and perfect combo. If you like quiet low key places to eat, this is not the place for you. Most definitely a fun experience!
