It's a gas station primarily, but they also do emissions and safety inspections. They are reasonably priced and quick. You can drop in, or you can call for an appointment.

I have taken both our cars there and had no problems. Highly recommended.

Wow, I walked in cause my headlight went out. I was welcomed so nicely. I was out in 20 minutes. Great service nice people.

Short version: Kamp Washington Shell charged me over $800 for an alternator because my car wouldn't start.  A month later, it's dead again.

They originally told me it was the alternator, and that they could do the job for around $550.  Although that was pretty high, I told them to go ahead.  When I picked the car up, though, I was handed a bill for $832.  

Needless to say, I expressed some unhappiness.  The clerk couldn't get the service manager to help me, but he promised to have the service manager call me.  Of course, that didn't happen.  I called the service manager and told him I needed him to reduce the bill by $200.  He bargained me down to a $150 reduction and a free "check" to make sure the car was working okay.  A technician gave me a vague assurance that things were working fine, even though the amperage was slightly under what it should have been.

Over the next few weeks, the car gradually began starting more slowly.  Then yesterday, it just didn't start at all.  I tried it again when the weather warmed up a bit...still nothing.  

I'm tempted to have the car towed back to them and demand they fix it, correctly this time, for free.  But when it comes down to it, I have absolutely no faith in their competence or their honesty.
