If you are a criminal and commit a crime in the west division. You will probably get away with it. I had a restraining order and the officer's ask the criminal if he validate the order and he said NO. He wasn't arrested as was stated in the order. Matter of fact, theses two officers went against the judges ruling. I am a retired police officer and I have never came across such a incompetent staff of officer's. I found out that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Captain Hallmark, he is a piece of work. There needs to be a lot of draining of the swap.

The KCKPD places high emphasis on working for the community and WITH the community to make this a safer place to live. A truly dedicated group of people.

Worst police department I've ever came across. The whole Wyandotte county is corrupted and steps over the law as if they are above it. Some cops are good and do their jobs but it's definitely way more bad than good cops in this department .

Most unprofessional police department I've ever seen. Call me at 9pm to retrieve my stolen motorcycle and 15 minutes later and literally a block from the criminals house, I get told I took to long and the bike would now cost me 70$ tow fee and 30$ a day storage. Clearly someone at city hall is getting kickbacks.

We are blessed, believe it or not. You can't condemn a whole department for the actions of a few crooked ones.
