Kapaun and Brown installed an EL 96 Lennox furnace in my home on 1/24/2018. My old furnace was leaking carbon monoxide, so they made my needs a priority and came the next day and installed the new furnace. I can honestly say that I would never consider looking elsewhere for my HVAC needs. I will recommend this company to everyone I know. They did an amazing job. More details: The installation was completed in one day by the owner's son Josh and another HVAC technician. The installation was done with everything up to code. They added an outdoor air intake, moved the original exhaust to a higher location as the previous company had not installed the exhaust high enough for the old furnace. They patched the previous hole on the exterior of my home using the appropriate mortar materials. When I came to check on the progress of the furnace over my lunch break, I found they had covered my kitchen floors with canvass to protect them. Josh showed me how to operate the new thermostat and showed me how to check the furnace for error codes and change the air filter. The old furnace was removed and my basement floor was cleaned to the point that you could have eaten off of it. Josh and the service technician were pleasant and answered every question I had. They even showed me the cracks on my old furnace from which the carbon monoxide had been leaking. When I initially called Kapaun and Braun I received excellent service from the owner, Brian. He answered all of my questions and came to inspect my home for a new furnace installation. He provided me with several options for furnaces. He also inspected my central air unit and informed me there appeared to be no issue with the AC unit, even though it was 17 years old. I mention this, because it shows that they were not trying to "push" any unnecessary sales. The company is owned by the second generation of the family, with the 3rd generation, Josh, who is incredibly competent and ready to carry on the business for another fifty years. Any warranty the company offers will surely be honored, as the company will be around for decades to come. I cannot express how awesome the quality of service was. This company was prompt, friendly, and honest. The owners and employees are extremely knowledgable and clearly take pride in their work. The price was $200.00 lower than the quotes I received from other companies in the area. To summarize, this company provided excellent and personable service at a fair price. They were respectful toward my home; and my dog! I would recommend this company to my 88 year old grandmother and never question their motives or quality of work. A++ service!!
