I'm just new to Kappenman and I am so happy I made the switch! Right away I felt comfortable with the staff and felt like everyone there was there to help me. My hygienist did a thorough job, was very informative and was so kind. My dentist was the same and felt very trustworthy and knew what he was doing. By far the best dental experience I've had. I know I made the right choice and am confident to go back again!

I did not have a good experience with Kappenman Family Dentistry in 2017. I came in as a new customer who moved to Sioux Falls for work. I knew I had a cavity and was open about it before seeing the dentist. My teeth were cleaned and before having the cavity filled I was asked if I wanted a white filling over the traditional silver filling. It was explained that on top of my insurance coverage, it would “only cost about $25-$35, at most,” for the white filling. I thought that was great and agreed to the white filling. 
A month later I received a bill in the mail for $88, and a couple weeks after that I received another bill for $92. I was very upset and felt that I’d been lied to and that I was treated as a customer and not a person who has 50 other bills to pay. 
Months later when I called to switch to a new dentist I was spoken to in a rude voice and was told “They’re just up the street from us,” twice. 

I found a better dental experience elsewhere.

I would recommend anyone who needs dental work done to go to Kappenman Family Dental Clinic. Friendly, quality care.

Right as you walk into the office you're greeted with a warm smile. The staff were very professional and welcoming. The dentist was very friendly and spent time explaining the procedures and x-rays. This was the best dental service I've ever received and would recommend this clinic to anyone!!
