The only downside is that good quality shoes cost a lot, but the staff are very knowledgeable and they sell the way really old site stores all used to. Remember actually having your for measured? Finding shoes that came in different widths? Being helped with trying them on and advised on how it fits? Excellent customer attention and service!

I have shopped here many times before, but today didn't go well. This is my first time since they downsized the store, and I walked in and signed in on the sheet as usual, there was one name ahead of mine. I perused the sandals and picked out a pair I wanted to try. The salesman near me was helping a woman and her daughter and we chatted and I didn't mind waiting too much, until they called a name when I was pretty sure I should have been next. I went to look at the sheet and there were two names crossed off after mine - so they somehow had skipped me. A salesperson noticed I walked to the sheet and made some excuse for why they skipped me and said he would help me and the woman he called at the same time. Then - even though I knew exactly what shoes I wanted to try, he spent 5 minutes explaining brands etc. to her. He finally brought my shoes - which don't come in half sizes, so they had none to fit me. He offered to show me others but I had already wasted so much time that I decided to go to another store. I was waited on there immediately and in and out of THAT store in 10 minutes with the perfect pair of sandals. I won't be back to Karavel - found my new shoe spot!

Javier helped us today and he was awesome. I came in with my 86 year old mother in law who was in need of some special assistance to find shoes. Javier was attentive and gentle and patient with her. He explained what was going on causing her issues - more so than her podiatrist had!! He even found her some orthopedic shoes she thinks are pretty. When she got in the car she said "what a kind man!" Within 10 minutes of having on her new shoes she said much of the pain she had experienced was gone. Thank you Javier!

Amazing customer service they will try their best to make sure you get the right shoes for you. I just wish the return policy was a bit more lenient, it's pretty short & the shoes I got murdered my feet. Prices on shoes are competitive but the insoles were priced far above what I found elsewhere.

Javier was great! He spent a lot of time with me making sure I got new work shoes that were perfect for me. I had a spinal fusion in 2014 and still have some pain. I work as a pastry chef and work long hours 5-6days a week on my feet. He measured my feet, and gave me very useful info about how my feet, legs and hips using the machine they have. It And he explained how and why I may have the issues that may be the cause of my pain and discomfort. He corrected the shoes I decided on and put in arches for me. I wore them out of the store that day and to work the next day. They are the best work shoes I've ever owned! He even fitted my son with inserts to help with his issues. My service, via Javier there was excellent, not to mention my custom work shoes! As soon as my husband has a free day, I'm taking him to Javier so he can help him with his work boot issues (he is an owner and operator of his concrete contracting business). Karavel Shoes has just gotten better and better with age and Javier is definitely contributing to their continued success. I have already recommended Karavel Shoes and Javier to tons friends and coworkers at work. Keep up the great work and service!
