Story

Based in Washington DC, Karma Home Designs is here to bring you something different. In home remodeling you always get what you pay for. Here at KHD, we take it the next level, because what you do now means everything in the future. Thats why our customers come first and our work is never over. We also strive to create and foster that "good karma" feeling, by giving back to organizations that are important to our community. We also pledge to donate a percent of your project to a local charity or organization so that by improving your home, we can also improve our community.

Our first goal is to provide the best products at an affordable price. We keep our offices modest in size and do not lease "showrooms", we believe that it is more cost effective and personal to bring our showroom to you. Also, we do not spend a massive amount of money on marketing. We use a grassroots approach and employ local students and people to canvass for us and we work by referral, because a happy customer is a customer for life. Working off of referrals ensures that we will work hard on every job as our success depends on you giving us a good reference.

Our second major goals is to give back to the local community and to specific charities that have an impact on people's lives. We strive to be a different kind of company. Not one that is just worried about the bottom line but one that was once typical of a business you would find along any Main Street in any town in America. We strive to be rooted in the community and place an emphasis on customer service and satisfaction. A portion of every sale will be donated back to a local charity/group of the customers choice. Whether you have a child in sports and wish to support their team, want to support the local humane society, your church, school or daycare, etc.
