Absolutely fantastic! What a great experience. Every dish was authentic, made fresh, and tasted amazing. Webster our waiter was very helpful, explained each dish and his wine recommendations were perfect. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is so relaxing. Moreover, this restaurant is spotless! Very clean! I will definitely go back with friends! Kid-friendliness: Perfect for families Wheelchair accessibility: Easy accessibilty and large bathrooms.
If you haven't tried this place yet, you need to stop reading this review and go. Like now. As in right now. The food is all made from scratch and it shows. Beautiful presentation and taste was out of this world. Great drinks. Dessert was to die for. I'll never eat Baklava anywhere else ever again. Service was on point. John was outstanding, very knowledgeable and helpful. As Ferris Bueller said "you're still here? It's over. Go home." Or in this case to Kasbah
My partner and I decided to check out the new moroccan small plates restaurant on the walking mall. We had such a great time. We sat on the cushions and pillows on the floor in the front window and had cold plates and hot plates. All were excellent, especially their hummus and baba ghanouj with flatbread. We tried their shrimp, chicken and beef meatballs plates, and it was all superb. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy with traditional Moroccan decor. The service was excellent. The waiter was humorous and informative. We will definitely be back. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention their baklava was "chef's kiss" delicious!
My fiancé and I were in the Winchester area and enjoy dining out often. We couldn't wait for the opportunity to dine at Kasbah. The menu is small but full of many tasty and healthier options. The small plates are large enough for sharing. The twist on Spanish Moroccan cuisine was genius. We ordered pretty much most of the menu offerings and left with our plates clean. The management, service and offerings here are impeccable. May I also mention that they make an incredible Moroccan mojito. I'm already thinking about our next visit to Kasbah.
Amazing ambiance and delicious food. We ordered everything on the tapas menu. Yes, everything and it was all delicious! A must try!
A flavorful cocktail in a warm and inviting setting with great music and delicious fresh tapas. The baba ghanouj and lamb dishes were our favorites.
Outstanding!!! New Fav in Downtown Winchester! Ordered half of the menu and LOVED ! every delicious bite! Excellent quality charcuterie and cheese, loved the pork belly confit, beautiful presentation, romantic atmosphere, and perfect service! Already planning to go back next week! Five Stars!!!
This place is incredible. Been here 3 times and haven’t been disappointed yet. John who has been our server twice now has been nothing less than outstanding! Such an interesting guy to talk to. Did I mention that he used to sing opera? It was my birthday, and when everyone sung , his voice obviously stood out and was beautiful. Such a neat experience.!
My husband and I arrived at 6:50 PM Sunday night. We walked 10 minutes in the rain and were genuinely excited about our first meal at Kasbah. Unfortunately we were turned away and told the kitchen was closed. We were told “Sorry but when we close is based on volume.” Kindly, please state this on your website so people can plan accordingly. Currently, your closing time is stated as 8 PM. Also - your phone line does not work. We tried calling in advance multiple times. Felt most unwelcome with the poor hospitality and our romantic evening was ruined.
Tapas with a great Moroccan flair. The decor was beautiful and fitting. We thought we were in Morocco. The staff were first class and knew the menu well. It's a rare thing that we loved every dish without anything to critique. All sauces are made in-house. Although we're generally used to Mediterranean and Middle Eastern, Spanish Moroccan was new to us. Having an open mind, we tried an assortment of dishes. The msemen was excellent. We loved the orange scented goat cheese. The Briouats was excellent. Try it without sauce, then one sauce at a time, and then mix. The Kefta Meatballs were excellent, be sure to blend the sauces. The chicken and apricot tagine was excellent. There was a little spice that grows but it wasn't too strong because the cous cous and herb yogurt really balanced the heat. The baklava had a beautiful balance of phillo, honey, butter, and almond. You cannot leave without trying the fried Sweet Bread. The Raspberry Coulis made in-house was an excellent balance to the Sweet Bread. We highly recommend Kasbah.
