Kashmir is a fantastic little Indian joint in Salem. It's warm and cozy inside. This is actually better than a lot of Indian restaurants I've been to in the past. The staff is helpful and friendly. The serving sizes are plenty so you don't leave hungry, and the prices are actually budget friendly and will keep your wallet happy. 100% recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for Indian or just something different.

I have been eating here since this place opened nearly 10 years ago. Kashmir is hands down the best Northern Indian Food in the area. The food is so flavorful and fresh. Nothing is overly oily or rich, just wonderfully balanced. I have tried most of the menu, but prefer the Tandoori dishes. They are truly excellent. I have moved around to other cities in MA and would still drive up to NH to eat at Kasmir. The restaurant doesn't look like much on the outside, but don't let that deter you. You won't be disappointed!

First, the food was amazing as always. But the new owners/staff are RUDE. My boyfriend and I went last night and I could not get over how terrible our waiter was. Never tried to get us drinks, sat there for about 8 minutes before even acknowledged we were at a table. We were the only people there! Never once thanked us and when we asked for extra rice you would of thought the world was going to end. My boyfriend is a lot more generous with the tip than most and we still couldn’t tip more than 15%. Won’t be back, the atmosphere changed a lot and it’s so unfortunate.

Cannot say enough good things about Kashmir. Have been to several other Indian restaurants in the area. I also lived in San Diego for 4 years and tried several Indian cuisine restaurants there and nothing even comes close to Kashmir. This has consistently been my favorite restaurant over the past 7 years. Would recommend to anyone who's either a regular fan of Indian cuisine or a first timer. They also have a great buffet. Staff is very friendly and Jeet is a long timer there who always recognizes us coming in and gives us warm welcome, even after not seeing us for almost 4 years while we were in San Diego. Cannot say enough good things about this place.

Friendly staff, and food was very good. Don't let the rather dated building put you off. I'll be back. There was a busy lunchtime crowd.
