All I can say is WOW what a fantastic meal we had at Kefi. We went there on Saturday . It was just filling up at about 6:00 . We did have reservations. My wife had the Greek lamb chops and I had the Greek chicken. For appetizer we had the calamari. We also had dessert which is rare. I had a custard with a filo pastry top and my wife had a baklava. Every bit of it was fantastic...the lamb chops my wife said were incredible. She had four of them with potatoes and rice. My chicken was equally as good and the potatoes that came with it were fantastic. The service was perfect. Our server was absolutely fantastic. What can I say we loved it and plan on getting back there soon...with friends and family ...because it would be great to have a group at Kefi's for all to enjoy. It's that kind of place. Needless to say it is highly recommended.

Tried this place and was disappointed. I like Greek food and have had some pretty good grilled octopus, lamb, etc. Started with grilled octopus which turned out to be charged octopus. Flavor was just that, char. The olive oil/ lemon/ oregano sauce was good. Dinner was my first meal of the day so I finished it. The waiter walked by and asked how it was and I said " charred" and he said nothing. We then got our mains: lamb chops, grape leaves (very good with egg/lemon sauce) and meatballs in tomato sauce. Again, the lamb chops were on the verge of charred, not cooked with a sear, although done med rare as requested. They had an underlying taste of burnt. We noticed a lot of people showing up so maybe we went on an off night. It was disappointing and we won't be back.

Nice interior.  Very friendly and attentive staff.  Our dinner was excellent. The ingredients seemed of very good quality.  Portions aren't gigantic, but they're hearty. Dessert portions were very large. We'll definitely be back.

The south suburbs of Chicago is a vast Wasteland when it comes to good restaurants and live entertainment. Kefi Greek cuisine is one of the exceptional gems in this abyss of blah. I love this place. The food is fantastic, the service is great, and in the warmer months the patio is such a groovy place to kick back and enjoy a delicious Greek dinner! There is no live music at Kefi, but Zach's On Tap is right across the street. Make a night of it. One suggestion for Kefi, they play amazing Greek music in the bathrooms and outside of the restaurant, but not in the dining area. Pump Up the Music for your diners to enjoy.

Kefi Restaurant gets five stars because it does Greek food right. I'm closer to Greek town in Chicago but I will happily drive to Palos heights next time I have a taste for Greek food. They clearly have a fresh food only practice here. The tomatoes and green peppers in my salad tasted as if they were just picked from a garden. The olive oil was the best I've had in a restaurant, at home even. The famous Greek egg-lemon soup (that is being butchered everywhere with corn starch lately) is exquisite! The real deal. Everyone at the table was eating and mmm-ing at every bite of their meal. I'm going back and can't wait to do so. Even if I have to drive twenty miles. Kefi. Greek cuisine. Delicious.
