Rude, harsh, it’s almost like they aren’t even human? They aren’t very understanding at all. They have these horribly rude attitudes and they just don’t care about anyone. All they really care about is their paycheck. Hopefully something will change in the near future

I've lived in the Keizer area since 1987. The police department has evolved with the community. When the officers are at schools, they aren't "hiding out", they are watching to make sure our children are safe. I used to live right beside the police station. All my interactions have been good with them, but maybe that is because I respect them and the job they do, and understand they are people too. Those of you that are upset by them ticketing you for violations.......are you sure you want to open the Pandora's box of having them pick and choose what they cite people for? I like it better when they cite you for breaking a law, which it sounds like what they are doing. I like knowing they respond quickly and are helpful and protective of us. Not breaking the law is the first step in keeping THEIR respect, you might keep that in mind. Bottom line is, they are doing the job they are paid to do, even if you don't like it.

Called non emergency tonight and no response after my other interactions I wont be calling Keizer pd reporting this department to state police. Disrespectful more worried about being called out on social media then doing their job! Would rather lecture me and tell me Im lying when damage was done to my property who we have called them out 3 times they showed the last time nope. Dont call them if you need help more worried about how they look and their egos! I wont post names but im a very unhappy citizen who has been victimized multiple times with still no end in sight.

Petty small town pigs. I know this because I listened to them be unprofessional on the scanner. At times making fun of citizens. Kilo 18 is the Hispanic guy I believe, talk about Petty. Harassing skateboarders, hobbyists and people in the community that don't deserve that harrasment. A lot of domestic disturbance in that community and stolen vehicles. When calling the non emergency police number you will be rudely greeted by (Rhonda) I believe her name is, she is very rude and needs more TRAINING in my opinion. A Department of Justice complaint was filed against (Rhonda) and that Department but no return response from the DOJ was received. I encourage the community to hold the Police Department and public officials accountable for their actions by reporting complaints to the DOJ.
