After touring several facilities my family decided to place my grandmother at Keller Oaks. My grandmother was fully competent, however she required assistance with her mobility getting to the restroom. Keller Oaks assured us that she would be given quality care and assistance as needed. They wouldn't respond to her calls for restroom assistance, they got her meds wrong and overmedicated her on several occasions. Once we saw the "true colors" of Keller Oaks we requested that she be returned home. While I know nobody can provide care like a family member, I would think this place would have been more competent. My grandmother was at Keller Oaks 7 miserable days. We had many sleepless nights worrying about the subpar care she was receiving. This was a horrible experience that I hope to prevent for another family. If you are considering Keller Oaks for a loved one, please consider another facility and PLEASE KEEP LOOKING.

I feel compelled to write a "real" review of this facility. I truly believe the staff cares about it's residents and I can truly say that my mother enjoys her experience there. There are some very special people who work at this facility, and their dedication and love is so apparent. Taking care of people who are used to being independent, who can no longer do some of the simple things in life, is not easy. I respect and admire the staff at Keller Oaks in how they maintain my mother's dignity, get to know her personally, and do nice things that are special to her. This phase of life is not easy, but it sure helps to have a team that cares about your parent the way the team at Keller Oaks does.

This place is a joke, if I could give it negative stars I would, just another typical terrible retirement home, get you in there to get the money and that's it! My mother was there for physical therapy ONLY, got there on a Friday, we were told the PT guy is there 7 days a week, by Monday night, DAY 4 (after being told by the head of PT he would definitely see her Monday) they still hadn't gotten her PT or even talked to the PT guy. They knew it was imperative to get her going bc she'd just had surgery and there was a concern of blood clots forming. I could go on but I think this speaks mountains by itself. If you hate your relatives and want them to have a horrible remainder of their life, then send them to Keller oaks, but if you love your family members, DO NOT SEND THEM THERE!!! Healthsouth is the place we took her after leaving Keller oaks, that place is first rate all the way!

My mother has only been at the facility for one week, however, from the moment she entered the building to current she has been treated with dignity and respect. She was made to feel welcomed and the caregivers listened to what she had to say. Each staff member has gone above and beyond to make my mom feel as if she were a member of their family.

My loved one was at this facility and I have nothing but praise to say about the employees and the care. I would highly recommend this facility. Very professional and very respectful. I do not understand why the negativity. This was certainly not my experience.
