Kenwood Homes built my new home. The design is great. However, they just never seem to be able to finish what they started. I have many outstanding items for completion after closing and they don't respond to either myself or to the warranty company and don't give any timeframe on when the outstanding items will be completed. So technically, once they get the money, they walk away, whether or not you have a warranty. The buying process itself was a pain as well, we had to push the closing 3 times because they could just never complete in time. The communication was poor during the entire buying process as well, lack of communication, lack of proactivity and misinformation from the builder's sales person. I would warn anyone, do not buy from these people! Stay away and spend your money with a reliable builder because these are definitely not one of those! UPDATE: 6 months AFTER closing they finally finished my kitchen cabinets! I had to be on the back of them constantly because of their lack of organizational skills. Thinks were forgotten all the times and they were just making up lies to cover their mistakes, which were really easy to catch them up on. 8 months after closing, still no news on the structural issues. Just simply pathetic.
Rachael was amazingly helpful when I spoke with her about having a home built. Much more so than some other builders in the area. She genuinely seemed like she wanted to help me in any way she could. While I haven't purchased a Kenwood home yet, I felt compelled to leave a review for the fantastic service. Hopefully I can come update this review once we do build or purchase a home from Kenwood.
Great home builder! I've known Ken for over 20 years and he is first class! Floorplans are fantastic and the finishing details can't be beat.
These guys are great builders. Reliable and fast.
Fantastic builder! Would not use anyone else.
