Have your pie and get some to go as well! This place has the best pies in the area. Also some pretty tasty soups. The decor is reminiscent of the 1960's, giving it a homely feeling. All and all, the menu is pretty good. Its like Perkins, but with a local vibe. Oh, and if you're into malts, they got some decent ones here.

Was hoping for something better, but while nothing was bad, it wasn't worth getting off the highway for. Seems like a place that has relied for too long on the food they used to serve and a large dessert menu. Our lunch was so blah that I didn't feel like dessert would be anything special. If you have kids who expect to get what they order, be sure to ask very specific questions: the kids menu says it's Kraft Mac & Cheese, but it is not - likely a store brand. The fruit cup was canned fruit, and the jello had fruit in it. Needless to say, not much of it was eaten. Their famous chili was cooked far too long and had one flavor rather than tasting like beans, meat, and tomatoes.

Not bad.. pancakes were kinda thin.. good prices. Waitress was friendly bit needs to smile more

The beef brisket was overcooked. The chili was sweet, a unique experience. The service was good.

Great place to eat. When we ask were to go tonight is always on the list. Large veriaty on menu.
