Great Irish dive bar in the middle of the quarter. Right by all the hotels so we did meet some tourists while playing pool. Great pints of Guinness!!
Always visit here now. When I lived here in the 90s it was a great place to grab an Black &Tan or Half &Half and enjoy some Irish music. Atmosphere is the same. Comfortable place to relax.
Second Irish pub visited while walking down Decatur Street on a September afternoon with friends. I saw a banner for Harp lager hanging inside, which I remembered fondly from a long ago trip to London, so that’s what I ordered. One of the other two ladies got a Black and Tan, poured quite expertly by the barman, in my opinion. We sat at the bar and chatted with the bartender for a bit and then were on our way. Sorry I waited so long for my visit. Nice neighborhood bar atmosphere.
Great drinks and service! Amazing sports TV big screen w great quality for world championship games! Owner was super nice; love the relaxing lighting.
Possibly the worst Irish Bar I've ever been to. I'm Irish actually born and raised Order drinks, then asked was the bar owned by an Irish person.. was told it was none of my business and I asked in an accusing manner. Just genuinely wanted to know so not really sure where the barman bald and glasses was coming from.. Just would avoid if you want a good experience ‍
We love to come here when we're in town. Great bar, friendly bartender, chill vibe, pool table & live music. What more can you ask for. It's a great spot when you want to get away from Bourbon street.Service: 5/5
First bar I went to on my first trip to the city and it did not disappoint. NOLA does great dives. Had a good pour of a local beer and a Guinness, had a great chat with the bartender Steve, who turned out to be from MD like me, wrote something in Gaelic on a dollar bill and now I'm part of the place. Couldn't be prouder.
Stopped in for a simple Guiness at 10am and was met by a man that reminded me of being back in Cork. Simple, no frills, just a good damn pub. The way it outta be.Food: 5/5
Great little place. We went during the day so we pretty much had the bar to ourselves but it picked up while we were leaving. The bartender greets and speaks to everyone like a friend. He said there is live music every night and we hated to miss it. But that's a great feature for anyone who can make it in the evening. The atmosphere was great, there is a pool table, and seating near the stage for the bands.
French Quarter's little Irish dive bar. Cheap basic drinks and an old Irish feel. The atmosphere is peaceful and easygoing.
