The minute we got off the plane. We headed for our destination and right across the street so straight was a beautiful lit's a beautiful little sports bar named Ryan's Irish pub. Now I have heard reviews on this is to be one of the best Irish pubs outside of Ireland. And it did not disappoint. I immediately ordered a glass of Guinness. This beer is not for the faint hearted. I fell in love with this beer a long time along time ago. It is rich and creamy A dark coffee color. A properly poured glass has an unmistakable froth on the top of this beautifully bitter dark beer. My husband got the house Margarita.. We wanted to order lunch order lunch but they don't have a kitchen they were gracious enough to let us order from the neighboring restaurant, sit and enjoy our meal with our drinks. The service was impeccable and I now understand why it is a neighborhood staple and people keep coming back to this every single day.
Recommended by a friend and does not disappoint. Easy to get to and easy going. Had a wonderful night with Rachael who was attentive and chill. Sifted through the tourists to make sure we were all comfortable - what a gem. Great bar for beer, sports, and friendsFood: 5/5
Fun place in the French quarter to grab a beer or Irish car bomb and catch some sports on tv.Service: 5/5
Walked by on our way to get some beignets and noticed the $5 Irish car bomb sign so we had to pit stop in. Bar tender was very pleasant and we stayed for an additional beer to continue talking to her. She gave great suggestions on local food and sites. Loved the futbol playing on all the TVs.
Stopped in Ryan’s Irish Pub to watch a couple NCAA tournament games during the day. Staff wore masks. They have 8 TVs-channel requests were allowed! Price for beers was reasonable, we even came back the next day!! Bathrooms were clean as was the establishment. Staff is very friendly and attentive, service is quick. If you are looking for a quick beer and/or place to watch sports Ryan’s Pub is your spot!
Nice Irish Pub located in the French Quarter and slightly away from the hectic tourist area around Bourbon Street. Good place to go for a quiet pint.Service: 5/5
Fantastic little Irish sports bar with a great vibe and great service! Bring your own food or order from next door and they will bring it to you! Great for watching football, as they show all the games!Service: 5/5
Love a pub. Didn't have food so I didn't rate it. A great place to hang out , watch some sports, and have a beer.Service: 5/5
After eating at Mr. Ed's Oyster Restaurant this was next stop for an Irish Car Bomb at least we thought. It was so chill that we stayed there for a few hours. They have a pretty good variety of draft beer on tap, so we had to sample them. I got to play my tunes on the jukebox, but the volume was just right, so it didn't interfered with your conversation. The bartenders were great both days we stopped in.
Spent a few afternoons and evenings in here, great bar and friendly staff. Wide choice of beers at excellent prices, I never got around to trying the Irish Car Bomb which seemed to be a very popular drink but I will when we return next April 23
