This place is horrible. We waited forever to get chicken and the place was empty so don't know what the wait was also we ordered 3 buffets and after we go get our table we are informed that the bar is closed if that was the case then why take my money and not tell me this place has gone way down!

This restaurant has been a mess for at least a year now. Every time I come, I leave disappointed, & determined not to come back. Make the drive to Waynesboro KFC, which is heaps better.

1 Star is generous. I am not usually the type to comment on dining experiences, whether they be good or bad. However, this experience was so exceptionally bad, I figured I'd give fair warning to future diners. I decided to visit the Staunton KFC location after a shopping trip. I was close to going through the drive-thru ( I wish I would have) but after a long day in Staunton, I decided to treat myself. As I walked in, I had a sense that I'd made the wrong decision. The girl taking orders was extremely rude(big deal, par for the course). After placing my order, I tried to find a spot in the restaurant to sit down at that wasn't totally filthy. I found a spot in the corner that was relatively sanitary. The same rude girl who took my order shoved my order at me on a tray as if I were serving a term at Fort Leavenworth, I graciously took my food and retreated to the decrepit corner of the restaurant. The food was gross. I have been going to KFC for years, and it has never been this bad. As I was eating, the trash-can right in front of my table was being changed, no consideration. I managed to finish around half of the meal. As I left, the same rude girl who took my order was sitting on the curb smoking a cigarette; an apt end to an abysmal experience. If you are passing through Staunton, do not go to the KFC there. The locals already know this.

They were not busy at all. I saw 4 food handling violations by one employee. He touched his ears to put ear buds in,touched the floor while looking in a cabinet, wiped his nose then took the tongs from the bar. All this was bare handed. Felt so disgusted that I left without ordering, (not that anyone was even trying to take orders)
