Most recipes have been handed down to us from our families who have lived in Corpus Christi most of their lives. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner along with an array of mixed beverages. TL;DR: Good tasting food, okay service, really the best? Edit: Get the Sweet Tea with Extra Lime

Everytime I come to Corpus Christi, I eat here at least once. But after the first time, it's lost its luster every single time. The restaurant is enormous with a very high occupant capacity, usually being crowded. The menu selection is very limited, I'm sure is due to its crowd capacity, making it easier to serve more people with less options. Outside of the large mural by back wall closest to the kitchen, the interior decor, and carpet is dated. The service is usually decent, however, for as busy as they get, they're usually partially short staffed for front of the house. Making wait times after being seated, long. I haven't been to many other Mexican restaurants in Corpus, so I guess I can't judge it from that aspect, but if this is truly the best Mexican food in CC, then there is room for improvement.

I had the Pescado Vera Cruz Con Camarones and it was great. Plenty of food that was prepared great. I only give the restaurant 4 stars because the decor looks old. I think it's time for a fresher upper. My wife had the chicken and beef fajitas and they were big hearty strips of sizzling goodness.

Jenny was by far the worst server I have ever had. We have been here many times before and it's always been great. Last night was absolutely awful. At least provide decent service if you are busy. We waited over 20 minutes before getting drinks which was okay because we saw she was busy. She only brought my husband a drink and never brought mine. I asked repeatedly for a  drink and her response was "why didn't you say  something when I asked the first time, although I had. By the time we got our food, it was cold. If you hate your job, get a new one but do not be rude to paying customers!

First time coming here. I brought me entire family. I'm kind of split on whether I liked it or not... The service was good, waitress attentive. The food was perfection! Everything was delicious. The con, and one of the most important things to me, is cleanliness! It just was not there. There was old and cakey dirt and dust everywhere I looked and the restrooms were dirty.

Kiko's is how I compare all other Mexican restaurants.  The food is the best Mexican food ever, and those tortilla's...OMG!!!  When we bring my father who has Alzheimer's, the staff treat his with such respect.  I cannot say enough good things about this place.  Its been around for along time, and that's because the food is that good and the service is even better.  I had my wedding rehearsal dinner from Kiko's.  The portions are huge, so if you leave hungry its your own fault!   And the Margarita's...yummy!!!
