If you are traveling between Shreveport and Dallas, and looking for great food, this place is only about 5 minutes off I-20 in Kilgore.   We are very particular about our seafood, and were very pleased with our catfish!  Not greasy, and no fishy taste!.. The fries were very crisp with a hint of spice, and the hushpuppies were awesome!  Looks like where the locals do a lot of carry-out.  Don't let the gravel and dirt parking lot or modest building fool you!  Small and simple dining area, but well worth the 5 minute drive off I-20!  Our first visit and will definitely be back!

The catfish is decent and lacking the muddy flavor and grainy texture of some places. The service is reasonably fast and friendly as well and you order at the window. The seating area is limited however and there are no booster seats or high chairs so do not come with an infant if intending to eat there. You can order to go however. The parking lot is dirt and small so you may have to find a spot if it is busy. I recommend it certainly thus far.

The food was ok. Could of been better. The shrimp was good but the fish was small.. Place was cool with the signs and posters.
