They are everything you'd hope for when it comes to hardware stores. Every time I stop into this store, I can't help but notice how different they are. Everyone who works here is super knowledgeable, super friendly, and exceptionally detailed. If you lose a screw you'll know you'll never find, they'll undoubtedly find that screw's twin brother. They've saved me so many headaches it's insane. Thanks guys.

If there are three things that every customer LOVES, regardless of which industry and regardless of what they're shopping for, it's (1) fair pricing, (2) helpfulness, and (3) friendliness. This store offers you all three. The staff is always courteous and always super knowledgeable. Each time I've stopped in here to get something I need (which they always have), I've walked out feeling not just satisfied as a customer who found what he needed but happy that I've been able to spend my money at such a genuinely terrific, family-owned, local business. I have zero interest in hardware as a hobby or for its own sake, but coming here is so pleasant that it almost makes me want to get interested in it, lol. Best hardware store in the area - maybe in all of Chicago, as far as I know.

The team is just the best! They understand what you want in a second, they have what you need all of that with smiles and jokes. For me there is only one Hadrware store in Chicago and this is Kim's Hardaware.

If you're looking for a hardware store where things are reasonably priced, the staff is incredible and you can stop in while walking your dog.... THIS is the place to go! Not to play into the stereotype...but.... as a single female, I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing when it comes to fixing things. These guys always point me in the right direction and are so kind and helpful. I come here for EVERYTHING and if i need help, I can go in, get advise and not feel like an idiot. 10/10 would recommend and I wish more stores were like this one.
