My dad received a text saying the appointment was on for today and the therapists were eagerly waiting. Upon arrival the office was dark and locked. We cleared the snow from the driveway and car to come hoping for a more personal experience since many people will not go out in this weather, but we are very annoyed that no one was here or answering the phone or letting us know the office was closed.

For 13 years, I had worked with owner/therapist Agnes Salgado of Kinesis Physical Therapy. While she is a good physical therapist, her business practices are not. In October 2017, I experienced billing irregularities with her. Irregularities is a kind term; in fact, she was violating her Blue Cross Blue Shield FEP (BCBS) contract. As a preferred provider with BCBS, she was obligated to 1) accept my benefits, 2) charge no up-front fee, and 3) not request that members submit their own paperwork for reimbursement. I reported the problem to BCBS which, in turn, tried many, many times to talk with her. She refused to take or return their calls until BCBS required her to talk with a BCBS Field Representative three months later. BCBS confirmed to her that she was violating her contract. She then reimbursed the $800 she had collected improperly and in retribution refused any further treatment to me. I have found an equally skilled PT group that knows how to handle the insurance end of a medical practice. Kinesis Physical Therapy is a new, ultra modern facility with top-of-the-line equipment. The physical therapists are generally good. However, equipment and personnel don’t count if the facility refuses to accept your insurance benefits. Attempts to resolve conflicts like this are impossible when the owner will not take or return calls. This problem is not new. Even before this incident, our family experienced it several times. The result then was a delay in getting treatment started.

There are a lot of techs constantly running around and juggling patients and their care. The Dr will spend maybe five minutes with a patient. Most appointments last almost two hours because the patient is given a timer and excercises to do on his/her own. If you have a minor problem, thus may work for you. I do not recommend for serious or chronic issues. I had no problems with billing or insurance with them.

I would not recommend to go this place, they were over charged my bill, when I tried to contact them for my bill issues it became terrible. and they won't return phone calls or email.
