Yesterday I walked into king coal as a nervous first-time buyer. I didn’t know what to expect or how to proceed- I just knew that I wanted one of their trucks! Justin Canterbury was knowledgeable, respectful, and patiently helped me through the process. 
King coal has fair prices and friendly staff. I expect to get the “typical salesman” spiel but Justin talked to me like an old family friend. 
I couldn’t believe how much selection they had in the lot! The buying experience at king coal far exceeded my expectations and when I need a new car you can count on my continued business.

The sales experience was great, however during a service appointment my door was scratched to the point that it had to be repainted. They willingly repainted the door. The door had what appeared to be a run along the edge. There was a disagreement that it wasn't a run, but the painter had made it thicker, to prevent this from happening again. Who wants uneven paint on your door. I took the vehicle to a body shop, the tech said no it's a run, very common for an in experienced painter, or either they didn't pay attention to it. I took it to a different dealer and the sales manager said it would devalue the vehicle for sure, because it looked like shotty paint work. We asked the sales manager to find us a blemish free vehicle, which was what we purchased, they basically refused. The General Manager said the best resolution would be to buy it back and hinted that it would be best if we went elsewhere. Even during the buy back the GM basically kept the payment that I had paid. I will not purchase here again. The service department is horrible, the service manager wouldn't even speak to me after I came back with the problem.

Not happy at all with this dealership. We bought several vehicles from there and the most recent was a 2017 dodge. There were a few things that was promised to be fixed that wasn't. We were told to take it to a dodge dealership it would be covered under warranty.  Well it wasn't, because King Coal had put a lift kit on it, the warranty was voided. When we talked to king coal they refused to pay for it. However Northside in Summersville fixed it for us. I bought a 2016 brand new from king coal and had it back to the garage 7 times before they finally got it fixed. I'll not purchase another vehicle from this dealership.

Our Salesman Rick Hogan went above and beyond his normal duties in making sure we were happy satisfied customers.  We are from out of state and dealt with Rick in 2004 when and unfortunate event with a vehicle at that time led us to King Coal Chevrolet.  My wife and I were very satisfied then which led us back to the dealership 13 years later and with the same salesman.  Thank you King Coal Chevrolet and a very special thanks to Rick Hogan.
