Looking for lunch on a rainy were Sunday in Mississippi. A lot of the bars and restaurants are closed on Sunday. We had driven past the place several times and they were open. So in we went. The host was very congenial and welcoming. The selection of cocktails were all made with local small batch liquor, very tasty. We shared a flat bread with tomatoes, sausage, onions ,basil and mozzarella. Delicious. Would definitely go back.

Everything was amazing and unique! I had the cream of mushroom soup, chicken pot pie and the dark chocolate ice cream for dessert. Incredible!! Everything was homemade, right down to the salted caramel topping on the ice cream. The building itself is filled with history, and the staff is outstanding. I would go there every day if I could, but sadly, I was just visiting.

I couldn’t imagine a better evening. Great atmosphere with great staff. Food presents great - don’t skip the desert menu. They do mixology classes so you know they can make a lot of different drinks. Pretty discriminating in what they carry - they will guide you to something good.

This is a great historical site, but I was disappointed with the quality and selection of food . I felt it was overpriced for what was offered. The seating was uncomfortable.

Genuinely unique, humble, like a fancy hole on the wall. Quiet, with a charming staff. Food was perfect.
