Two employees helped me out today behind the meat counter. I just wanted to take the time and thank them for their customer service! I purposely go out of my way to shop at this location for the quality in produce versus shopping at the grocery store near my house. At this (competing store) there is no quality customer experience or communication between workers. You feel like a burden to them and honestly, I avoid talking to anyone at all because it's uncomfortable. Not at king soopers! Though perhaps a small gesture, I wanted to thank you guys because, in fact, it's not small. There was clear communication given to me that I was being acknowledged and their mannerisms were refreshing and very much appreciated. I didn't find soup bones where they normally were and learned today of a new place to find a replacement product should I come across this situation again. I really strongly believe these two should be commended because that type of service is just not common anymore. Thank you, thank you!

I used this store and pharmacy for 5 years and I had been married and also changed insurance a few times recently and also providers. King Sooper first told me they couldn't fill my Rx because I didn't have insurance after I came into the store to check it prior to my new Dr calling in the Rx then they told me when I went to pick it up that my birth date was wrong I went to have that corrected and then they said I had to contact their 800 pharmacy number to change things I already had changed. I then went to Safeway pharmacy to transfer the Rx as I moved closer to them anyway but I originally wanted to keep King Sooper Safeway was helpful and told me this may take 24 hours and would contact me if there was a need and when ready. The next morning King Sooper auto messaged me they cant fill the Rx because they no longer have any of my meds in stock(when they did the day before. I called Safeway pharmacy then to check on the status of the transfer and they said they will have to call King Sooper again as nothing came through . With in minutes Safeway called me back saying that King Sooper told them they had nothing in the system on me to transfer. So I called King Sooper again and they said that Safeway gave them my maiden name which King Sooper also had in their system as well as married name and I had to call Safeway back to have them correct this which I did . I am an insulin dependent diabetic waiting 3 or more days with out these prescriptions and I blame King Sooper for their incompetency on this

The staff has always been friendly and helpful for us. Sometimes our medication is not in stock and they will help us by calling other nearby pharmacies on our behalf to see if they have it. A couple times, they have caught a dispensing error made by the doctor and have corrected it -- this may have saved us some serious side-effects! Try to go during off-peak hours and elect to pick up your prescription later that day or the next day.

Scott at the self check out is incredibly rood and filthy. They would do well to use him as a stoker. He is not fit do deal with the general public with his very negative attitude. I wanted my stand cleaned because it was so filthy it wouldn't ring. I had to clean it myself and he yelled at me over it and wanted to argue with me. King Soopers just lost an 800.00 mo. customer to Albertsons! Not that he cares, very miserable people very rarely do care.

Do Not Go on The Weekends. This past weekend my partner and I visited this location to purchase some groceries. While the selection and prices are good, the customer service and patrons on the weekend are awful. Shortly after arriving, my partner and I were completing our usual route through the store--one end to the other, on a weekday, this takes 20 minutes to complete by myself. When we arrived at the pre-packaged deli meats isle, we encountered the most despicable young couple. This other couple and my partner and I were the only ones on this small isle. However, they deemed it necessary to place their cart in the middle of the isle, blocking anyone from getting around them--let alone being able to access the products on the shelf for over half of the isle space. After waiting 5 minutes--more than enough time--I politely asked them to move. After rolling her eyes and throwing her hands up in the air, the disrespectful girl finally pushed the cart with her two children to the side. Not to mention that she had one of her children in the basket of the cart, which shows the genuine lack of concern for her little tax breaks. After she laboriously moved her cart to the side. She felt it necessary to mutter something under her breath to the extent that, "That fat b***h is lucky I didn't hit her." At which point I stopped picking up the product I was after and asked if she was communicating a threat towards me. At this point her man-child of a "boyfriend" (or in this case, sperm donor?) put his face so close to mine that he was spitting on me. Threatened me. Both of them yelling obscenities in front of their children they cared --so-- much for. My General Anxiety Disorder started acting up, I got nervous, looked towards an attendant for help, and after telling both of them repeatedly to get out of my face, a store attendant finally responded. TAKING THE SIDE OF THE COUPLE THREATENING ME. The attendant; a heavy set woman pricing bread at the time, yelled at us both. I was thankful that my partner stayed wary, but watchful. As a former Marine, he could've gotten in a lot of trouble from these welfare wasters had he done or said anything. The store clerk then realized her error and said to me--and only me--that she was "...speaking to both of us." I've been shopping here for years. No longer will I go on a weekend if the employees take sides with a grown man and woman threatening another woman who's less than 5'4". My only regret is not pressing charges so that I wouldn't have to worry about going back to my local market and seeing them again. I don't feel that the behavior of the heavy set store clerk is appropriate. I am thoroughly convinced that she took the side of these irresponsible parents simply because they had children and my partner and I are decidedly childfree.
