It's Kings County Supreme Court, what more is there to say or comment on? If this is jury duty for you, then my advice is arrive early, be prepared to wait outside, be patient with security, and then even more patient while you experience what follows. Frankly, the experience was worth the discomfort and inconvenience.

I'm an attorney and it truly boggles the mind how the court can find so many lazy, nasty and miserable people to employ in one building. This place just sucks.

If you're on jury duty do yourself a few favors to make your experience as good as possible: bring a water bottle and a snack (or $1 bills for the vending machine), bring something to read (!), bring a backup phone battery (a few outlet avail by the vending machines), bring a pen, bring your patience. Youll get an hour lunch break. If you want something cheap check out Golden Fried Dumpling a few blocks down. For $2 you get 5 delicious pork dumplings. The best.
