The waitress was very sweet, and I appreciated her. However, I gave two stars because the employees were doing repairs on the walls when we walked in; the floor was littered with pieces of the wall that were peeled off. An employee was applying joint compound  to the wall right  next to the booth where we were seated. The booth was not clean; the seat had wet fingerprints smeared all over it.  This seems like it would be a health violation...to have no barrier between the repair project and the booths where customers are eating.

I like going to Kings, the menu has a good variety and the prices are reasonable.  Soups are generally good.  They have a few "Pittsburgh" items like pierogies which are good.  Also for dessert, the cinnamon ice cream is really good!  I miss the Frownies.

Friendly staff, great service! The usual family restaurant fair. I love this place because the food isn't bad and the staff is that great.

Perhaps it was a off night when I visited this restaurant for dinner for the service was as palatable as the food. My friend ordered meatloaf, mashed potatoes & gravy, salad, and creamy fudge cake. I was more cautious ordering a small bowl of chili, onion rings, and a strawberry milkshake. My friends meatloaf and mashed potatoes were set aside after a few mouthfuls which lacked for flavor. His creamy fudge cake however both looked amd tasted great. My chili was okay but so I'd ever reorder it, the onion rings as good as any fast food restaurant. I did not get my milkshake until my meal was finished and it had to be the wateriest milkshake I've ever had. It seems as it was made but forgotten and I had to ask the waitress for it. The place is huge, lots of seating, clean, and has a pleasant ambiance.
