This is the worse place that I have ever visited! The CNAs throw linen on the dirty floor, shake it off and remake beds.  The workers, nurses and CNAs complain or gossip with 2 of the offices ladies about others workers and schedules or who they don't like and how to get rid of them. There is ABSOLUTELY no team work at all. If the workers spent as much attention to the residents as they do gossiping, the residents wouldn't have to wait forever to be helped. It's a very unprofessional and toxic place for anyone to live. Palm View in Yuma, AZ need to just close it's doors!

I don't recommend palm view.they never cared to keep my mom clean.for her appts.she had food on her clothe and wheel chair.rooms filthy.drawers filled with hair and the toothbrushes had hair.they don't know what hangers are for .they'd just throw the clean clothe inside the closet .no telling if the clothe was dirty or clean.cnas had attitudes but visitors would be talked to by social services saying it won't be tolerated  when it's their staff.they don't get that they get paid and have a job because of our loved ones being there .So much more that is write a book on them poor service

Only one star because I had to rate it. This is the worst place ever. Didn't take care of my mom at all. I can spare you the details of what went on. If you don't want to be taken care of then go there

I have a story for you. 
Our father was admitted into the Palm View Rehab & Care Center on March 6 2016.  He signed his own DNR (Do not Resuscitate ) and DNH ( Do not Hospitalize ) form on admission.  
He was having trouble breathing the morning of March 7 2016.  The Nurse called 911 and the ambulance came and took him to Yuma Regional Hospital ER.   I called Palm View and asked why 911 was called a nursing supervisor looked at his file and said 911 should not have been called.  That the DNR and DNH was on file.  

After he got to the ER.  It was decided we send him home with 24/7 in home care and Call in Hospice.  His wishes for signing the DNR and DNH were not honored.

I was told that a mistake had been made and the person making this error would be talked to.
  
I will leave it up to you.  Do you want your loved one taken care of at this facility?
