I also was excited about hiring Carlos M for a bathroom remodel project.    The initial demo happened quickly, but work slowed down significantly after that. It took forever to get the cabinets completed and installed, longer to get the frame-less glass for the shower and longer still for the counter-top,  which looks great, but measurements were off.  The faucet drill outs were off centered and they didn’t measure properly for the back-splash edges.  The shower and new cabinets look good and his team was respectful and always cleaned up, but the devil is in the details.  I would not hire again.

Carlos and his team did a good job and the kids’ bathroom looks very nice.  Angel and his crew were terrific and very conscientious. Scheduling was an issue, and I had to remind Carlos about elements we had agreed on. For a quick remodel, I would recommend them, although they are pricey.

I have been enjoying my bathroom remodel for 3 weeks now, and I am veeeery happy! Since there is only one bathroom in my home, and it was built in 1952, I was quite worried about what we might find when the tile came down.  Hiring Kitchen and Bath Solutions was the right choice for me - not only because it turned out to be beautiful, but because Carlos (the owner) was always available to talk, or text, or meet in person about progress and choices. His cheerful and positive personality helped me get through the process with little worry, and loads of confidence. I stayed in a hotel during the remodel, so there was no time to waste. I believe that if I had not decided to work with a contractor, the job would have taken a LOT longer than it did. They finished this job in about 10 days, but I didn't have to stay in the hotel that long. It came out just as I ordered it - with a better mirror and vanity light than I expected. The cherry on top is that Kitchen & Bath Solutions is a famiy owned AND operated business. Carlos' lovely wife and son both help him run the business. Knowing the owner is personally invested in the business gives me peace of mind. If you are in the market to take on such a project, I highly recommend this company. Check out the photo - we kept the retro-look of the home with a mosaic tile, and black and white motif...... everyone walks out of there cleaner than before!! Happy remodeling, friends!

Carlos and his team have been nothing short of EXCELLENT! Now I could rant and rave about the quality of work etc. I will be brief on that matter, his teams work ethic and attention to detail is nothing short of amazing in today's hurry up and wait world. If you want quality, cleanliness and attention to detail Carlos and his team are by far the best choice. Let me tell you why I rate his team a 5.  They care about my home and more importantly the people who live there. He has taken the time to escort my wife to countless contractors not because he was trying to sell something but for genuine concern for her safety. My work schedule keeps me away from home... A LOT! So when choosing a contractor it was important for me to find someone in whom I could trust not only with quality and professional work, but who had integrity. Folks, Carlos and his crew will not disappoint. I do not regret for one minute choosing Carlos and his crew to renovate our home. Will post another review once the job is complete. We are almost there!

As a retired Marine, I know excellence when I see it.  This is my third remodel, so I can recognize someone who knows their business and who takes genuine pride in the quality of work they’re doing…and that certainly describes Carlos and his crew.  We are just about done with this project and I’d like to offer an honest and objective review so far.  I will follow up with another review when the project is completed as well.

First, I can’t recommend Carlos highly enough for any level of remodeling or renovation you may be considering.  He is a man of integrity.  A man you can trust.  He is pretty much remodeling our entire home… both bathrooms, entire kitchen, every floor and door, plus adding additional square footage to our home by enclosing our porch and running air to that area as well.  It is absolutely beautiful and words cannot express how delighted I am with the project thus far.

Before choosing Carlos, we did our homework and got several bids.  So why did we choose him?  When compared, his pricing was fair and the level of detail outlined in his bid was impressive.  But we ultimately chose him, because we felt it in our gut.  We have a habit of listening to our intuition and it has never let us down:) His crew is exceptionally clean, professional, and always on time. They are a delight to work with.  All the work performed throughout the remodel has been of the highest standard and I have so much enjoyed working with them.  I also really appreciate how hard they all work toward keeping the remodel on schedule and within our budget.
 
There are plenty of contractors to choose from in New Braunfels, but I can tell you with complete confidence that Carlos is simply the best for a home remodel.  Remodeling or any kind of renovation can be very stressful, but I haven’t felt stress at all.  In fact, I am loving the process this time, because I know I am in good hands. 

So, our entire project should be completed in about six weeks:) Wooohooo!  I will be sure to follow up with a final review…and I’ll post a few pictures too!
