HISTORY: Benjamin Franklin conducted the famous lightning experiment. Then as an adult, his son, William Franklin signed the charter which created Rutgers. kite+key, Rutgers Tech Store, is named for their tools of invention + discovery.

You will not find a better more well informed staff. Their pricing is always at education and when they run a sale, no one can compare. I got a Go Pro 50% off on their last sale and for back to school a Mac at education pricing plus a free set of beats plus a $75 gift card plus a backup hard drive for free. I even got to trade in my old Mac for instant credit towards my new one. Then I got their protection plan that comes with the free loaner program. Not sure about these other experiences but mine was top notch and has been every time I’ve gone back. Thank you Rutgers for providing such a great service to the community and at great pricing too!

This place is an absolute disaster. My daughter submitted her math first week in August for a new screen. Near the end of August she was told that their tech was on vacation and the computer still wasn't fixed. Then two weeks later she called and was told that the port needed to be shipped from Houston and was delayed because of the hurricane. Shouldn't that part have been ordered and shipped in early August before the hurricane? 2 1/2 weeks ago we were told that the part was shipped from Houston to New Jersey. Well it still hasn't arrived, so I guess they are walking it up here? My daughter has spent half the semester without a computer because of the incompetence of Kite & Key. I can't wait to see what excuses they feed me when I call them on Monday .

Ordered a custom computer, sales team extremely helpful, order arrived in advance of date promised. Excellent price for accessories. Shop with confidence.

Bought a cable and found it to be one I didn’t need. Wouldn’t let me return it since the Sealed plastic bag it came in was opened, even though you have to open it to test it. Wish they told me this when I was making my purchase and not when I had problems with it.

They are horrible in regards to customer's time. Asked for a part to be ordered and they never did it and I came in several times to attempt to pick up the part and they eluded answering my questions about the part saying that I have to speak to this or that person.
