This happened back in 2011, but I still feel it's important to share my experience of the one time I visited this clinic: My 10-year old cat had become very lethargic, and was not eating or drinking. I brought her in to see if there was anything that could be done for her, and as soon as she came out of her carrier in the exam room the veterinarian said nonchalantly, "Oh, she's gonna die." While I knew she was seriously ill, I was appalled by the lack of "bedside manner" presented by the veterinarian. He didn't even examine her before saying this! He recommended bringing her to the U of M to have her lungs drained. I was told it would be very expensive, and I knew I could not afford to do this since I had just lost my job. I explained I could not afford it and was casually informed, "Well, she's gonna die then." A few days later I had my poor girl euthanized at the Animal Humane Society, as I could not let her suffer any further. However, I will NEVER return to the Kitty Klinic. I felt the lack of compassion displayed toward my cat and I was appalling.

Staff cares about your furry friends, from the nervous and skittish to the friendliest feline. Prices are very reasonable and they even have a parking lot in Uptown! They helped me rescue a stray who is now part of our family. Just one doctor so make an appointment for quality over quantity!

From the little things like checkups to the big scary things, Kitty Clinic has been absolutely incredible keeping my furry children healthy & safe. They have one doctor on staff, Dr. McMenomy & he’s wonderful. I will say, it’s always hard putting all your trust into one person/team to do everything they can to help our fur babies but they have never let me down. They do everything they can to keep the cost down & they care SO MUCH about the kitties well being. They close at 6pm but there have been times the doc has called as late as 9pm to give me an update which as a worrying cat mom, I appreciate so much. They’ve sent personalized cards for my kitties’ birthdays and get well cards when they’re sick. Kitty Clinic has saved my cats life 3 times now and I can’t thank them enough! Gus 😻, Mila 😻 & I are so grateful for the hardworking, loving staff at the Kitty Clinic ❤️.

Highly recommended. The vet and the staffs are friendly and caring. Dr. McMenomy is knowledgeable.
