They charged me an additional $300 for my divorce because upon leaving the court house, where I had agreed to pay for said divorce, my ex husband took my copies out of my hand, paired them with his own and burned them on the ground. He knew I would need those documents to change my name and clearly declared the act was ment to inconvenience me. 2 guards witnessed the entire incident and not only ignored my need for help, but refused to write statements attesting to it. I was fined for public endangerment over the open flames, charged for new copies of the paperwork and told that as the financially responsible party, it was ALL my duty to correct. They even threatened me with assault charges for attempting to take my paperback from my experience lit them on fire.
