Klondike Kennels takes excellent care of my dog when I board him. The staff is always friendly and pricing is straightforward. If you're looking for a place that will care for your pet while you're away, look no further! The fact that they have a vet on staff (the Blair Animal Clinic is in the same building) is reassuring in case something happens to my pup while I'm away.

I have a toy poodle and it was our first time taking her there. We told them exactly how we wanted her to look. She came home looking like a completely different dog. First of, the hair on her back looks way shorter than what we told them to do, they didn't even do anything on her head or face, she looks just as dirty as she was when she came in, they hurt the back of one of her ears, they didn't even cut her nails (they said they got to cut 2 on her back paws). We admit that our dog isn't easy to deal with, but she never came home like this. The worst part is that she spent 4 hours in there. We will never come back and I don't recommend it to anyone.

I've been very happy with the care my dogs have received. one of them has a lot of anxiety problems and does well there.
