Shopped there today because of the "closing sale".  Folks, there is NO SALE.  Just about everything had "new" price tags over the old prices and the new tags were marked up greatly.  A box of Hefty garbage bags was $9.49.  I went to the kitchen section to purchase a box cheese shredder and they wanted $9.99!  Of course, it had a new price tag on it.  I can pick one of these up at Big Lots or the Dollar Store for $3.99!  Prices were ridiculous!  The "10 or 25%" off everything in the store only brought it to a more normal price.  Unconscionable to to treat their long-time customers like this...no wonder they are going out of business.  Employees were rude, as well.  I can at least cut them some slack; they are losing their jobs.

This store has been there for fifty three years that I know of and I can find what ever I'm looking for  in there.  The associate are friendly and very helpful.

After my experience I know why they're all going out of business. I tried to buy patio furniture but was unable to fit the set into the car I drove. I asked the manager if I could purchase the set and pick it up the next day when I had a truck. He said I couldn't do that without guaranteeing it would still be there the next day. He said I had to put it on layaway and pay the $5 fee. That's odd but ok. I've never had to deal with so many idiots at once. It took 45 min to put it on layaway. The next day when I went to pick it up it took an hour and 30 min to pick up my already purchased item. They lost the whole set, the computer system was down, the wrong item was marked, what I bought was never set aside, the employees were arguing and cussing at each other, the cashier was extremely rude and couldn't even make eye contact because I was annoying her that much. Now I know why the set was such a good deal because you have to deal with so much BS to take it home.

This store is set to go out of business in Sept or Oct.  The prices are jacked up so that you think you are getting a deal on most things.  It is so hot in there I am not sure how the employees stand it.
