May be small but I have exterior pictures only though. Great location.  One of the last Big Kmart locations in New England.

Good prices, friendly staff, not a lot of a selection or brands.

The assistant manager named Kelly saw me alone in the baby department with a backpack on. She approached me and said "I have to have my bag held up front, or leave the store." I said "why?" She said "policy" I said "I NEED it with me and you can search it if you'd like" She said: "I don't want to search it, but you can't shop here with it". I said "I'll leave" (lose business,your choice)

I went to find my 2 year old, my friend, and continued shopping until I checked out. (I didn't say I'd leave right away! Try getting a 2 year old out of toys when it's her nephew's birthday in an hour.)... 

I approached Kelly at end of checking out. She was in the jewelry department up front. I asked her "So Kelly, what's the policy for baby bags? Your store even sells baby bag back packs.? I keep my child's epi pen, diapers, my pain medicine, my kids juice and binki, among other items. (My friend has an colostomy bag backpack for discretion).

 She didn't know what to say. She started off with "Well, I once had an incident with a back pack." BUT I stopped her and said "so your profiling me?" >>If you're robbed by an Asian, you can't stop all Asians from shopping here. I then repeatedly asked her to show me this policy she claims they hold true... But what are the exceptions? Does a mom really have to go retrieve an epi pen from Service desk because it's held in a backpack? Or my 2yr olds juice, or diapers, tissue, my tampons even? 

YYYAaaaaa leave my unlocked pain meds with a bunch of 16 year old, part time, high turnover, Palmer kamart employees!!;I'm sure they wouldn't steal those!

But push to shove, the lady never gave me an answer or called the real manager to fill me in on the details or gray areas of this stupid policy.Seriously,,, I Know not to wear a hood in the bank because there's a note on the door before I enter. 

Regardless, any trouble could come of any bag, baby carrage, purse, gym bag, wallet, coat, etc... why just back packs?and why not baby bag back packs. I use it because it's hands free. I have a 2year old about to destroy your toy Dept. You would've thought you would like me to have a backpack. It's probably the hardest things to steal with too. How easy is it to open a bag on your back descretely and shove toys in it?!?!! Lol.

I think she just thought I was some punk trying to steal. Either way,don't go throwing"it's policy or leave", unless you know the policy details.or at least ask your boss. 

Hey Kelly, you ASSistant manager you,,,. Have a great life working at k-fart. I'm sure you get off telling little kids how to do their easy job. Large and in charge.!! It's like the guy with little man syndrome, who drives the big truck (but packs a mini Weiner.) You're the policy tosser who hasn't read the book...go get your GED.
