Russian-language book and home goods store. Sells greeting cards, children’s books and some houseware and clothing as well. Kind owner and reasonable prices for books в распродаже. Lots of self-help, philosophy/psychology, cooking, etc books, but a decent modern and classical Russian literature section too.
It is always a pleasure to shop in this store. They have a verity of books, souvenirs, calendars and many many more. All salespersons are very attentive and helpful. Recently I bought Ukrainian souvenirs and sent them to India!!! Because even people in India support Ukraine and was asking me for Ukrainian souvenirs! Слава Украине! Героям Слава!
I was looking for a place to copy some papers and, as I was walking past the stores after a couple said that they didn't make copies, including the pharmacy inside a market and a phone company, both of whom I patronize, I noticed a sign that said "copies made". I went in there and the lady that came to inquire as to what I wanted brushed me the wrong way. After I asked about making copies for me, she treated me as I expected to be treated, like a paying customer.She asked if I needed assistance with the machine and she made the copies for me after I said yes. It would have been 5 stars but for the initial encounter.
Always have best selection of Russian books, gifts, and newspapers. I have been ordering a paper through them. No other store was able to carry it on-demand, Knijnik did it. I am beyond grateful.
Super nice folks here! If you need Russian books, CDs, movies, or anything else from Russia not food I think, this is your first stop in the area. Great place for Russian language learners to immerse themselves!

A book store for speak Russian people. All of books, CDs, DVDs only Russian language. Maybe if you need to read Tolstoy at originally you will be satisfied. But it is so complicated if you don't speak Russian or Ukrainian.
This place is a small book shop mainly for the Russian community I guess but it's very pleasant. Plenty of books to pick from and read.
Knizhnik is a probably the last physical bookstore in Philadelphia, selling russian books, kids toys, greeting cards, matryoshkas russian nesting dolls and a crystal glassware. I enjoy coming to the store, where I can buy some chachkas for gifts and a few items for personal use.
Great russian book store. Some books were not available for my purchase, thus they were able to order them and called me once they were ready for the pick up.
