My family and I have been patronizing Kobe Susi for over four years and enjoyed every meal we have ordered.

The menu is a wonderful combination of Japanese, Korean and standard American with a few fusion options mixed in.  The appetizer section is filled with fresh items with a number of very healthy options.  The rolls are the type traditionally found in a California style Japanese establishment, and are well executed and presented beautifully.  The sushi is always so fresh you can almost taste the ocean in each and every bite.  

The waitstaff is always friendly, professional, and knowledgeable.  They even appear to enjoy their jobs and convey that to the customers!  The kitchen is willing to make alterations to accommodate diners.  For example, one member of our family does not like avocado but loves tobiko.  That substitution is made cheerfully and unhesitatingly, and without the occasional eye roll or are "you kidding" look the family member gets when making a similar request at other sushi restaurants.

The atmosphere is very casual.  Situated in the old Sam's Town center off  Highway 50, the restaurant has maintained the painted concrete floors, large windows and relaxed air from the "old days."

Prices are more than reasonable for the quality and quantity of food served and less than some of the better known Japanese style restaurants.

What a darling find! Really good, fresh food for reasonable prices. Very nice, friendly staff who helped us navigate the diverse menu. We will be back.

Restrooms Need to be Cleaned

AND the Front Entrance Door is / was extremely Dirty & Needs New Paint.....

We were served glass in our sushi. Chief said it was from a container, green small glass pieces.
No discount, didn't eat the sushi.
Bad!

Great neighborhood sushi place. Friendly staff, great food. The chirashi dish was very tasty with a nice variety of fresh fish over sushi rice.
