My boyfriend and I were here on vacation - We read the reviews and almost decided to not go here. Thankfully we decided to see for ourselves, because wow, what an awesome experience all around! The hostess greeted us as soon as we walked in, the waiter was super attentive and funny, and the chef? Super talkative, down to earth and just nice! He did some awesome tricks that we’d never seen and even did something special for us being the first table of the night! Amazing experience! Thanks for making out first trip to Padre amazing!

Our waitress was very nice despite being the only one on the floor. Our sushi dishes were very good and plentiful. I was the only one to go non-sushi and went with the Chicken Thai Coconut Curry, which is a favorite of mine. I will say that it lacked a little in seasoning and had no pepper flakes like I am used to, but it had some nice vegetables in it and was more than I could eat. I would recommend this place.

The food was great and the atmosphere was relaxing.  Our chef  cooked our meal on the built-in grill at our table.  He was very nice and quite entertaining.  The wait staff was very courteous and did a good job.  I look forward to enjoying a meal here again soon.

Kohnami is the best sushi/teppanyaki restaurant I've been to. The service is great and the food is delicious! I got the tuna sashimi and oh my... The tuna was so fresh! The owner, Benji he is so sweet to his customer he actually takes the time to greet and talk to them. I highly recommended to go here when you get the chance!!! You won't be disappointed!!!

Service was really bad. The only  waiter at the time took 10 min to attend to us.Their were 2 ladies who were being catered while we were being ignored. After 20 min passed we never got our drinks so we walked out.
